Prep for on cycle

On cycle coming up either in the summer months (last cycle) or in the new year (cycle before). Key things to prep: i) LBO models including div recaps (peak frameworks is probably the gold standard right now), ii) mock interviews on return mechanics/ deal walkthrough / why PE, and iii) market sizing / mental math exercises (under hyped question bucket). I think the best ROI will be on the mock interviews with friends. Continuously trying to make the situation more difficult for you will be the highest leverage activity you can take on - this will sharpen your nerves when it comes time to interview.
